Who is required to stop at Georgia weigh stations?
November 2nd, 2009 | by admin |I have a small auto business in Alabama. Sometimes I have to travel to Atlanta to pick up autos in my tow truck. DOT has recently started making tow trucks come through weigh station. I am only 79 miles away and they require log books also.

I think that they can make you stop but cannot enforce log books as you don’t need one if you are less then 100 air miles from home base. I am sure that they can inspect any commercial vehicle anytime they want.
