April 25th, 2009 | by admin |

I’ll be visiting atlanta this upcoming weekend and I’ll be staying for three days.I have a few questions:
Whats a good place to stay thats fairly inexpensive ( less than 100)? What are must sees in Atlanta? What are some good restaurants?

i live in Columbus, about an hour and a half from Atlanta but have been numerous times…

i always stay at the Winngate by Wyndham Hotel…close to everything, cheap, quiet, clean and spacious. found the hotel by chance one trip and always go back to it…breakfast is included in the price so you gotta love that. also, plenty of parking…link below for the hotel…

some things to check out…for shopping either the Mall of Georgia or the Lenox Mall, go to the Aquarium and the CocaCola Center, also downtown is interesting for a look. the zoo is okay…i go there just for the pandas but there are lots of great exhibits…

there is a Six Flags…though not sure if its open at the moment…

    have fun!!!

Six flags is open on the weekends now.
Otherwise, you could go to the Aquarium and/or World of Coke, take the CNN studio tour, visit ZooAtlanta, shop at Atlantic Station, stroll through Little 5 Points and/or Virginia Highlands, and visit Underground Atlanta.

Six Flags is an awesome place to visit. As is World of Coke, and the Georgia Aquarium. The best place to stay for under 100.00 is going to be the Wingate Inn at 6 Flags. Its right next door, and I’m going to leave you a link below. The best food in Atlanta is the Varsity. Its Atlantas most famous eatery. I love to get the Chili Dog and Chili burger combo. Hope it all helps and welcome to Atlanta!
