I am travelling to a Atlanta, Ga from Nashville, Tn and I have the?
August 23rd, 2009 | by admin |options of taking two routes. I want to know which one will get me there in the shortest time. I can either take a road that will average 55 miles per hour for 195 miles or a road that will allow me to average 75 miles per hour for 250 miles.
I need to answer a word problem for class. Can anyone work the problem out and get the answer in minute formate. I would greatly appreciate it

Take I-24 West to I-75 South, you will be there in 4 hours.

75 MPH for 3 Hrs. 20 Mins. 75 X 3.34=250.50
55 MPH for 3 1/2 Hrs. 55 x 3.55=195.25
Could be a trick question were as both will arrive at the same time
