Cheapest time to travel to Hawaii?

I’m planning a family vacation to Hawaii sometime after my baby is born in August. I am just wondering at what time of the year is it cheapest to fly to Honolulu? The family would be flying out of Atlanta.

    never during Summer or Spring break…

    Sept to Feb are good

    Cheapest air travel tickets to Hawaii, any island, and car rentals on the islands are during Hawaii’s low season months:
    April – mid June
    Sept – Nov (except Thanksgiving)

    Be smart and stay away from the summer months July and August when all families with school attending children go to Hawaii.

    And don’t let yourself fool…the winter months Dec – March are our high season, when beaches + restaurants are crowded, air fares and car rentals are extremely expensive, vacation rentals and hotels are booked way ahead at high rates.

    Plan your Hawaii for after Labor Day and you will be having an wonderful vacation in Hawaii at a decent price.

    Thanksgiving! Truly one of the best times. Little rain, not so hot, cheaper prices (assuming no conventions), fewer tourists. Delta has some good prices for that period. Get a 2 BR condo to save on housing costs.

    I went during winter time. Tickets are cheap. Mine was less than $300. So it wasn’t that bad. The weather is good though. Very little rain too. A lot of things are cheaper because a lot of people don’t go around the winter time. Don’t go during spring to summer because a lot of people go and it’s very hot. Hope this helps. Oh yeah, I also recommend using Southwest Airlines, it was very cheap for me. =]

    April is off peak season in Hawaii..you may find the best deals around that time.

    People go to Hawaii when the weather in the states is the worst, like Nov-Jan so thats when it’s busy, but of course its also busy during the summer.
