Has anyone ever been to The Masquerade in Atlanta? Is it in a seedy part of town?
February 25th, 2010 | by admin |I’m going to The Masquerade in Atlanta for a concert on Friday. I want to stay in a hotel within walking distance from the club, but I don’t know the area. Is it in a good/safe part of town, or would I be better off staying somewhere else and just driving my car to the show? Thanks for your help.

It is very near Little 5 Points… I don’t know that I’d call it seedy so much as alternative- though for a hotel, you may want to look elsewhere. I can’t think of any hotels in walking distance. You will see plenty of people (various rockers, hippies and concert goers) and older buildings that make you wonder about the safety of the area, but I have been going there for the 12 years that I have lived in Metro Atl and never witnessed an incident.
